The book contains about 180 screenshots inside of it. I highly recommend it to beginners in website building. It will guide you through. Even if you have no experience in website building before now, do not be worried because there is no use of codes in the book. It is just simple on its own.
William S. Page started by explaining what website building and design is. He explained reasons why you as a person have to learn that skill irrespective of the profession you are into. At the end, I was convince that the author really knows what he is doing. Even though I am a builder of websites before I bought his book, I learned other new things to add to the one I knew.
One of the things I got from the book that is new to me is how to design pages of my website with different backgrounds. Everything looks like different websites all together when I applied this on my website. He really nailed it. With his instruction, I discovered that even if you are running a blog site, you can design a page of that website as an E-Commerce section. What an idea!!
Many beginners in website building do not know how to hyperlink, add social media links without using HTML codes, and the use of page breaks. The author explained how this task can be carried author. The author is a good teacher with great skills.
With his work, he will teach you how to troubleshoot if you run into problem in your design. Also, how to maintain healthy state of websites are covered in this book. Maintaining websites good health is an added new feature by WordPress Content Management System. That means that William wrote his book with new updated information from WordPress. That is why the book is tagged "2020 Edition".
Another important area the author covered in his book of about 273 pages is how to design the footer section of a website. He detailed it out so that beginners can learn properly. He even assures readers to contact him if they run into problem in the course of the building their websites. Footer section can be an avenue to interlink within or outside of your website.
