To be creative is an action. It is not just what you dream about. So many creative ideas have died with their generators because they did not put them into work. Yes, it is a "doing thing". You have to make it work. It is your responsibility.
I don't know how creative you think you are? The author
of this article is moved to put this down after turning his creative ideas into action and the ideas are paying. That which he designed in his mind before building it to real life is paying. One may not know the kind of creative ideas you have.
Your creative ideas may be to build an empire that will bring the entire world together. It may be something different. It may be so unique to the extent that nobody else has it. That is a beautiful one if so.
But, people want to see results. They don't want much stories. They want to see practical experience of what your ideas are. It is a thing one has to put into action. It not just about dreaming till the end of the world. Take a step.
You have to do those things you would not like to do ordinarily. You think of the time it may take you to complete. You think of the tedious rough road you will pass before you get that done. You also consider the obstacles in the areas which you must win before you get a clear look of where you are going to. All these are part of the stories you will tell when everything has taken a standard shape.

You may just designed that in your mind and at the end you do not do it. In that case, you end up letting those creative ideas die. It is like someone who has been disturbing an architect to draw a house plan for him and after the architect has done the job he ended up not building again. It this regards, it is obvious that he wasted his ideas. The reason is because he did not "do the creative idea". It is something that you have to do.
In life, I have met so many people that said they want to write at least a book. These people have been saying this for more than five good years. They have great creative ideas to share to the world. But those their ideas are not yet concluded because they failed to do them. The creative ideas are not complete when the involved did not do them.
It is time. Now is the right time. Now is the best time to get those things done. If you can start early enough, you will enjoy the benefits involved for a long time. It is not just what you create in your minds without doing them to make them real. If you do not turn them into real actions, you haven't start.
Sometime ago, some persons dreamt of a machine that would have the capacity to flight in the air. That was a creative idea. That idea was a standard one. But the creative idea was put into motion to make that machine real. First was the initiation of the idea and second was the accomplishment of the creative idea.

The Wright brothers, Orville (August 19, 1871 – January 30, 1948) and Wilbur (April 16, 1867 – May 30, 1912), were two American aviators, engineers, inventors, and aviation pioneers who are generally credited with inventing, building, and flying the world's first successful airplane. They made the first controlled, sustained flight of a powered, heavier-than-air aircraft on December 17, 1903, four miles south of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.
In 1904–05 the brothers developed their flying machine into the first practical fixed-wing aircraft. They made their creativity came through because they put it into action. Make your ideas to be in motion and that which you want to accomplish will be made possible.
Sometimes, that your creative ideas may require more hands to get it done and done effectively. Do not be stingy in bringing other hands that will make that work. What you need is to be careful in your selection of people that will make up that team. Get it work out. Stop procrastinating because it will cause you more harms than good. Creativity is doing. Creativity is an action. It is never stagnant or dormant. Put your creative ideas into action youths.
