I have blew it All: Do not take it Personal

The mistake-riddled life is much richer, more interesting, and more stimulating than the life that has never risked or taken a stand on anything- David MC-Nally.

In life, we sometimes blame ourselves for the silly mistakes we made in the past. Some at times felt like committing suicide because of their past lives which were full of mistakes. One may say, “I would have become a very rich man if I have placed my priorities right ten years ago”. I blew it all. What have I done? What was really
wrong with me? These and many others are usually the blames we shower on ourselves as a result of our past mistakes.

But let me ask, will all these blame change the past mistakes? It can never at all. What should be more important are the next steps to take.
In the 2006 World Cup, Zinedine Zidane would have won the world best player of the year but lost it because of his mistake. He head-butted Italy’s Marco Materazzi on the chest. Many fans of Zidane were not happy due to the mistake being made by the great footballer and it resulted to him being dismissed from the match.
That you blew it is not the end

The footballer did not rest all through in the mistake he made. He decided to plan his future life better instead of dwelling in the past. He beat his chest and believed the future held better for him than the past.

The good old days were never that good; believe me, the good new days are today and better days are coming – Hubert Humphrey

Where is Zinedine Zidane today? He has reached a high mark in the history of football coaching today. He developed a new strategy to do what no other football coach has done in the history of football. Zidane is the coach of the great football club, Real Madrid. He won the Champions League trophy for the club in his first year as the manager of the club and also did same in the second season.

He is the first football club coach to have won the trophy back to back. Today, many coaches see him as a great man in the field of football coaching. He did not sleep in his past mistakes rather he is a greater person today because he looked ahead when he made a mistake as a player.

I do not know what your past mistakes might have been but dwelling in it will not change anything instead it makes you feel bitter. Forget about it and move forward. Yes, you blew it in the past but do not sleep on it. You can do better today as a youth and greater things in the future. Do not take your past mistake personal.
