Long Time Work with Lasting Reward

Have you ever tried writing a book that took you long time to complete? One of the books can even take you up to three years to complete. It requires a lot of work and determination. If you have had experience of what I am writing about, you will fully understand that such project is never a child's play. You have to really work for the dream to come through.

Sometimes it seems it will not come to an end one day. Two months passed and before you know you are already in six months. You may think you would be able to complete the work in the sixth month but before you know its already in the first year of you writing a particular book. The more you write on the title the more ideas flow from your head.

The work continued to take more months which you didn't believe it will be like that when you began to write on the book. This is close to what I passed through when I was writing my book "Metallurgical and Materials Engineering: Introduction and Applications" It took me over three years to complete the book. But am happy for completing and publishing the book at the end. Today, copies of the book have sold in India, United Kingdom, United States of America and other parts of the world. I am happy about that. But before the dream came through, It was a big work.
It was a long time work but today it is giving me a lasting reward. Because the book is on print on demand, it keeps selling for me. It cannot run out of copies. Even when I travel from one country to another, the book will still be selling. As am sleeping, the long time work of mine still attracts customers that will keep buying the it. The reward is a long time thing.
It the same way, building a blog where you teach people and share ideas is not a day job. In a week, the blog owner may not even see one single view from readers. It will appear as if that blog will not attract readers at the beginning. That is how many new internet writers give up in their blogging or online writing. They gave up because they have waited for at least for a year and it seems nothing was working out.

But those that keep putting up evergreen articles continuously without giving up end up being happy as time goes on. Consistently working on a blog for at least three years will pay back something good in return. You will be marveled when you start receiving at least 50 views organically from Google search engine. You smile as the views keep coming in as much as the articles you write are evergreen. Evergreen in the sense that the articles are topics that people can ordinarily search for using search engines.

Long Time Reward in Entrepreneurship

I have seen businesses start small. Sometimes it appears as if the business will not stand the test of time. The reason behind the feeling is because the pioneer of the business did not start with huge amount of money. In my own eyes there is no solid financial backup on the business.

But, do you know that today he is doing well? There are enough goods in the shop and till tomorrow customers are still buying and promoting the shop. This is the shop that the owner would not have started due to low capital availability. She worked hard and today the shop is of good standard. The reward which is profits have been keeping the management going in a healthy way.

You become Happy

Ever been a marketer in any company and you get paid by commission? The commission you are paid is dependent on the number of active customers you have brought into the company. How do you feel at the beginning of the job? I tell you that if you have found yourself in this kind of job, the beginning is usually rough.

You go on selling the services of the company on daily basis just for you to receive small payment at the end of the month. Sometimes the payment can be annoying and you fell like leaving the job. This is because the number of your customer base is small. You do not earn enough from them.

But do you know what happens when you do this kind of job above and you put in the necessary effort to build your customer base? You become so happy as things change to better. That is a long time work which comes with its own lasting reward.

When you build a base like that, even when you do not bring in any new customer in a month,  you still earn good and sound commission. Some of the commission are usually higher than what someone that work in a company with fixed salary earn.
You work for a long time and you end up having a long lasting reward in return.

Whenever you remember that commission will be paid in a particular day, you smile and be happy because you know that the reward of your long time work is coming. There is always this internal joy that flows through you because you know that the fruit of what you have worked for is coming.

Build your project over the years and be happy with the result you get. Engage in long time work to make such project completion become real. The reward of long time work is lasting. So, keep up moving and going higher no matter the challenge. You will enjoy everything later in life.
